Eligibility to appear in CAT for B.Com graduate?


Hi.
I am an OCI CARD holder.
Residing in India for the last 20 years.
I have done my B.Com Hons from DU.
Can I sit for CAT and be eligible for
admission basis my CAT marks in MBA?

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. It is an entrance examination which is conducted by Indian Institutes of Management for admission to business administration programs. Eligibility criteria required to appear in CAT examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must have completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

2. You must have secured an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ ST) marks in your Bachelor's degree course from a recognised university.

3. Candidates who are pursuing final year of their Graduation degree are also eligible to appear in CAT examination.

Since, you have completed B.Com course from a recognised university, you are eligible to appear in CAT examination. If you can score good marks more than qualifying marks, you can definitely get admission in MBA course through CAT examination marks.

Yes, you are eligible for CAT exam.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. CAT examination is conducted by IIM's every year for admission in IIM and top level MBA colleges.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam. For SC/ST candidates the percentage is 45 % in graduation. There is no age limitation for the candidates. Final year student are also eligible for CAT exam.

Pattern for CAT exam:-

1.Data Interpretation.
2.Quantitative Aptitude.
3.Logical Reasoning.
4.Verbal Ability.
