Can I get scholarship if pursuing 11th in a Government school?
Hello,
I want to get the scholarship because I belong to poor family, I am studying in 11th standard in a government school. So, I can get scholarship? Waiting for your reply. |

Yes, you can apply for National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) while studying 11th in a Government School. NMMS Scheme is offered to the students for studying Class 9th to 12th, who are weak economically. You have to appear for an examination conducted by the Department of Sate Educational Research and Training to get the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme. Your family income should be not more than Rs 1.5 Lakhs per year. If selected, you can get Rs 6,000 per year through NMMS Scheme.
