Sir, my aim is to become an IPS Officer. Right now, I have taken admission for English Honours in BA. So, I would like to know about the steps through which I can get achieve my aim. Please help me to know about this asap.

Procedure to become an IPS Officer:

In order to become an IPS officer, you are required to first meet the basic eligibility criteria that is required.

<> The basic educational qualification required is "Graduation" or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

<> There is no certain percentage criteria required in Graduation and successful pass is required.

<> Candidates who are doing their final year are also eligible to appear in this examination.

<> To become IPS officer, you are required to appear in an entrance examination called 'CSAT' (Civil Services Aptitude Test) which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

<> Selection process consists of Preliminary Examination, Main Examination followed by Personal Interview. You are required to qualify rounds one by one to become an IPS Officer.
