How can I become an IPS officer after passing 12th exam
I have passed 12th exam successfully in phys.math chem biology,eng,bengali.now i want to be an ips officer.how to prepare for priliminary exam of ips exam?what should i do now?what are the steps to be pass in priliminary exam of ips exam????????????????

Here's the details of the exam in a nutshell for you:- IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The preliminary exam took place in the month of May and Main Exam will take place in the month of December this year. As mentioned earlier the basic eligibility criteria required is a graduate degree. The subject you choose is of little significance here. While appearing for this exam your age should not be less than 21 years or more than 30 years if you belong to the general category. There is relaxation available for the following categories:-
A. Height:- -Male: 165 cm -Female: 150 cm B. Chest:- -Male: Minimum 84 cm. (Expansion 5 cm.) -Female: Min 79 cm (Expansion 5 cm.) C. Eye sight:- -Good Eye:- 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. -Worst Eye:- 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. IPS exam consist of total 9 papers which are based on different topics. These are as follows:

Information Regarding Civil Services Examination. Nice to see your interest in the Civil Services examination. The Civil Services examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) once in every year. Eligibility Criteria for the Civil Services examination. Academic Qualification- --> Pass graduation is any stream from a recognize University. Final year graduation candidates may also apply. Age Limit- --> The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination. The upper age relaxation is also applicable for the reserve category. Physical Standard : The candidates must be physically and mentally fit as per government rule. These are the basic eligibility criteria for the IAS examination. As you are a 12th passed candidates then first complete your graduation degree in any stream from a recognize University. you become a IPS officer first of all know eligibility details IPS stands Indian Police Service its comes under civil service examination IPS Eligibility : Nationality : must be Indian Educational Qualification : must be complete Graduation in any degree from a recognized university (final year appearing candidates also eligible ) Age Limit : 21 to 30 year age limit Height: A minimum height of 165 cm for men and 150 cm for women Chest: The minimum chest girth, fully expanded: 84 cm for men and 79 cm for women Eyesight: A distant vision of 6/2 or 6/ 9 for worse eye and 6/6 or 6/9 vision for good eye. IPS stands for Indian Police Service.After completing 12th you are not eligible for IPS officer exam.
First you should go for a bachelor degree in any discipline.After pursuing a bachelor degree you can appear entrance exam i.e. civil service exam. Eligibility Criteria:- Educational Qualification- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from recognized university. Age Criteria:- 21 to 30 years. Exam Pattern:- Preliminary Exam , Main Exam Selection Procedure- Written exam, Physical test & Interview |
