Hello! I'm a second year BA student. I want to become an IPS officer so will you please help me by giving some important guidance which will help me to become an IPS officer. I'm very much interested in that and it’s my aim from childhood only. Now my intention is to only achieve my goal and nothing else. Please help me.

To become an IPS officer after completion of your BA degree, you need to appear in IPS examination which is conducted by UPSC. Eligibility criteria required to appear in UPSC IPS examination is mentioned below :-

--> You should be a citizen of India.

--> You should have obtained Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

--> You should be within 21 to 32 years of age. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
