Dear friend,

If you are final year student of MCA then you are applicable for GATE exam .They can't require any kind of marks criteria.

So dont worry you are eligible for GATE exam.

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam . You can try it in maximum times.

The GATE score is valid for only 2 years.

Dear friend,
After completing M.C.A. you are eligible for appearing in GATE exam.
You can also appear in GATE exam during final year.
There is no age limit for it.
No restrictions on number of attempts. You can give as many attempts as you want.

There is no age limit and no. of attempts criteria for GATE.

You can sit for GATE as many times as you want...

GATE held on the first Sunday of February each year....
Take online study materials for getting the pattern, follow previous years solved papers...
You will get them here!

Follow the standard books...don't try to read those books which is not popular for GATE.

Prepare notes chapter wise...while studying, don't leave any doubt, clear your doubts anyhow!

Be confident and dedicated!

But I want to ask you why are you going to sit for GATE exam...It is the exam for those who want to do M.tech...which is a two years post graduation course.

And you have done MCA...which is a 3 years post graduation course.

After MCA you get very sophisticated jobs in companies like IBM, Wipro, HCL, Microsoft etc...

So I will suggest you not to go for any M.tech degree, instead of that find a job with your MCA degree.

The rest is upto you...best wishes....

Hi

GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

It is conducted by the IIT's every year in the month of February to select candidates for the M.Tech programs in various IIT's and NIT's.

The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to sit for the GATE exam are :-

1. You should be a minimum graduate in B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharmacy from a recognized university or college.

2. There are no attempt or age limits to the GATE exam.

3. The final year students may also apply for the exam, but the pre final year students cannot.

Thus please do not worry about the Upper age limit, or the attempts allowed.

You can take as many attempts as you can.

Hope this helps

All the best

Regards
