depending upon the caste their will be different age limit and qualification ask by the indian army as we know that they will ask the minimum qualification like matriculation or 10+2, as you have doing your BE you can join the indian army

Candidates who wish to join army should not be less than 17 years and not more than 21 years.
You should pass +2 / graduation with at least 50% marks. If you pass +2 you have to appear for the NDA exam and graduates has to pass CDS exam. The exam will be followed by interview and medical test.

10+2 Pass unmarried male candidates with Physic, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) with a minimum of 70% marks and between the age of 16½ and 19½ Years are eligible for the grant of permanent commission in the Army after 4 Years of technical military training.
# Soldiers (General Duty) : High School within Age - Limit or 16 - 32.
# Technical : High School within Age - Limit of 16 - 32 Years.
# Nursing Assistant : High School with Biology within Age limit of 16 - 25.
# Mahila Constable : Matriculation (18 - 23 Years of age).
# Soldiers Tradesman : Non - Matric 16 - 20 Years.

There are two ways through which one can join Indian Army
If you have passed +2 level of examination, you may get in through NDA(National Defence Academy). The NDA entrance exam is conducted by UPSC. The age limit for the same is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
If you hold a bachelor degree, you may apply for IMA (Indian Military Academy).To join IMA, you will have to appear for CDS exam, conducted by UPSC. The eligible age for writing the exam is 19-24. years.
An individual with a bachelor degree from a recognised institute can also join Indian Army through short service commission.

you will not cross age limit as to join Defense services as an engineer, the age limit less

than equal equal to25 years.

There is vast scope of joining army as an engineer. You can join indian army by following

ways:

1.UES : through this scheme ,you have to face direct interview and getting success you

will be call for SSB. you can appear for this in your 3rd year.


2.EKT: Through this scheme you have to give a written test ,after completing this stage you will be call for SSB.

No friend , your age limit will be crossed when you get into your final year, the only thing is , if you belong to a sc/st category then there would be some age relaxation for you .

you can join in indian navy in two ways.

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. which exam you can appear after doing your btech.

And age limit is 21-29 year.

according to indian army entry scheme according to your present age you are eligible but you are not a b.tech engineer.so when you will pass b.tech that age you will be crossed.because maximum age limit is 24yrs.

dont be hopeless try other defence field and DRDO.

Whenever you apply just check with these points regarding different entries:

TGC (ENGINEERS)
20 and 27 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence
BE / B Tech final appearing & degree holders in notified streams of Engineers

UES (Pre Final Yr)
19 and 25 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence
Pre Final year students of Engineering Degree Course

SS (Tech)
20 to 27 yrs as on first day of the month in which course is due to commence
Engineering Degree in notified discipline

there are various post in indian army and depending on the post the age limit varies.

but i think as you will not cross 25 when you will complete your B.Tech then you will be eligible for all post by age limit.

yes definetely you can join the indian army after completing your engineering.
after completing your engineering you will have to face a simple exam and then after some period of training you can work as an engineer.

for the NDA exams your minimum age should be 16.5 years and maximum age is 19.5 years.

and in the case of the cds and the exam base on the gradutaion the minimu age is 21 years and maximum 25 years.

Here is value of money and not of comitment and perfomance, i wasted my life for becoming indian cricket player, but i was used in trials, and candidates without perfomance were selected in front of me. --you should be 12th pass....ie. should be at-least 17yrs old.....
--so try for it when you cross 17th or your 12th standard board exams....

1)join it as an sipahi after completing your 10th.
2) write the NDA exam after 12th and can become an officer .
3) write the CDS exam after completing your diploma or degree.
