I'm final year engineering student and I belongs to electrical and electronics engineering.I want to get a job in core company for that suggest some ideas how to get a job in core company and what are the requirements for that?

be strong at the basics of all electronics subjects............
such as edc,control systems,communications,etc.........

hii..
be strongs on r fundamentals..
and consentrate on ur core subjects..like power system..control system, machines..
the core companies make there own entrance xams u have to clear it to get it..
u should consentrate on ur branch subjects..

dear friend,

tou need to be strongs in fundamentals of engineering and concentrate on ur main subjects..best way choose 3 or 4 subjects which are favourite to to.then create strong depth.

in interview they are asking about your favourite subjects.then you can give the right responce.

you see, if you are interested to work with your core field then you must do mtech. after doing mtech you can get core jobs easily.

specially if you want to do research oriented jobs, then MTech is compulsary.

but if you are not interested to work in your engineering field, then it is essential to do MBA.

but one things you shoud remember, for getting promotion in company, MBA is essentially required.

The core companies require above 85% aggregate and you are a ece and eee students. You have good practical knowledge about core subjects.

To get core companys job you have to give PSU exams.Through these exam you get admission to BHEL,NTPC and HAL companys.

Qualification requirement for these job is:
*Must be graduate from core engineering disipline from any recognised university.
*Must have minimum aggregate of 60% in your graduation studies.
*Age limit for these exam is 21-27 years.

Core companies ask for all basics to be clear. And you need a good GPA as well.

For electrical, be thorough with subjects like power systems, control engineering, signal processing, transformers and power electronics. These topics will also be asked in the aptitude screening round.

Also, an HR round needs to be cleared. So be prepared with most HR questions like your strengths and weaknesses and goals and ambitions.

As a electrical and electronics engineering student you have a great scope to build your career in core field.Different govt. PSUs like NTPC,BHEL,HAL,BSNL etc. conduct their own exams.So you need to keep yourself updated by visitng the official websites of the concerned company.

there is no requirement as such.
Most company ask for atleast 60% in your graduation but the more it is the better it would be.
More the marks, less you will have to struggle.

If core companies are coming to your campus, you should be getting placed easily.

If you are applying off campus, then you may have to face some problem.

Since you are ECE, you can target all the IT firm.
These firms are good and also pay good salary.
You may ask any of your friend to forward your resume.
Many companies have schemes like " Add buddy" ( add buddy is for TCS ) where you recommend your friend.
