Wheather it is better to do m.tech or phd after MSc chemistry?

both are better it depends on your choice ..

i think mtech is good for your carrier .... if you want a job then mtech is good and if you want to do research in this field then you should gone through phd ....

i think ph.d is an better option because you have already don post graduation by doing m.sc hence there is no point in doing m.tech which is also an post graduation

its not every day that one gets an chance to do ph.d
so i would surely suggest you to do ph.d because the future scope is very good for ph.d holders because of so many new institutes coming into existence and the demand for an professor is great in India,
also the research sector in India is really coming up,so you can even expect some good jobs in private companies also

while there are many other oppurtunities after M.SC chemistry but if you want

m.tech or phd then according to me you join phd. this is better than m.tech for you.

Both are different so you can not compare each other.
But I prefer Ph.D because you already have a master degree so you must go for Ph.D,

Rest depends on you.

M.tech is better than ph.d in job point of view and ph.d would be better for knowledge point of view on a particular subject but it is depend up on whether you want job or ken.
