I am a student studying in 11th std science stream and want apply for NDA IAF so how can i apply for it can i do it itself in 11th or how can i do it after 12th std?

Dear Aspirant,

If You are aspiring to join NDA You have to first of complete you 12th Science with at least 60%.......

Then You have to apply for NDA Entrance exam which is conducted by UPSC Twice in Year.......

>> Age of candidate should be between 16.5 to 19 years.......

>> Only Unmarried Male can apply.....

>> A candidate must have Nationality of INDIA......

NDA is conducted in Three wings:

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air Force

You are wishing to join Indian Air Force so you require some Physical fitness stated here.....

Physical Requirement:

> A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health.

>> Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 Cms expansion.

>> Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes.

>> He should be able to read 6/6 in distant vision chart with each eye.

>> Should recognize red and green colours.

One is not eligible to apply for NDA IAF while studying in 11th standard as the minimum educational qualification for it is 12th standard from Science stream.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Air Force of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

Hence in order to apply for IAF you have to complete 12th standard.

To apply for NDA exam, the eligibility criteria is,

Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age- 16.5 to19years.

Only unmarried male candidates can write NDA exams.

Eduactional qualification

For Indian Army - 12th pass

For Indian Navy or Indian AirForce- 12th pass with maths and physics subjects.

So to join Indian Air force, you should have completed your 12th with maths and physics subjects and then write the NDA exam.

The acronym for NDA is National Defence Academy.

The acronym for IAF is Indian Air Force.

Currently, you are studying in 11th with Science stream, so, at present time, you are not eligible for the NDA examination.

For giving NDA examination, you will have to complete your 12th.

NDA examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice every year in the months of April and August as NDA-I and NDA-II.

IF, you join IAF, then you will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of NDA for IAF wing.

The eligibility criteria required for the IAF are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

* Final year contenders are also eligible.

* Age limit:- 16.5-19 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- Not provided.

* Nationality:- Indian.

i have heard that for going in NDA one must give the exam of UPSC
but for IAF i have heard that one should give the exam of AFCAT
so, can you please tell me which exam is conducted
