Dear Sir, I am planning to appear in GRE so that I can do my further studies in Abroad. I just want to know that what is the passing marks of this entrance exam? Please help me to know about this as soon as possible. Thank you!

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examinations. It is a standardised test conducted by ETS (Educational Testing Services). ETS GRE scores are accepted by most of the top graduate level schools of all over in abroad as well as India for Masters degree programs.

There is no such cutoff marks in GRE. It depends on the university in which you want to apply. Example:- Stanford University demands 318 marks in GRE whereas University of California demands 300 marks in GRE. So, the cutoff marks vary university to university. But, if you are seeking admission in top universities, you have to get 315+ marks in GRE.

There is no specific cut-off to qualify the GRE examination. By default, you will get 260 out of 340 marks and it is best to score at least 300 marks in GRE examination to get admission in best universities. You have to concentrate on verbal reasoning, quantitative ability and analytical writing sections to get good score in GRE examination.
