To do MS in Germany is it compulsory to take IELTS?


Plz tell me that....To do MS in Germany is it compulsory to take IELTS or can we apply with TOEFL and GRE scores

To do MS in Germany, you need to prove your English Proficiency by appearing for the TOEFL exam. Some universities ask for the GRE score while, some universities does not. So, GRE is not mandatory to do M.S in Germany and it is mandatory that you must appear for the TOEFL or equivalent examination. So, If you appear for the TOEFL exam, it is not required to appear for the IELTS exam and if you appear for IELTS exam, it is not necessary to appear for the TOEFL exam. That means, you need to appear for any one exam whether a TOEFL or IELTS to prove your English Language Proficiency for getting an admission in the M.S course in Germany. So, we can say that, the IELTS is not mandatory to do M.S in Germany.

Actually it differs for different University. Some university recommend for TOEFL where few will prefer IELTS scores. So, to be on safer side consult with the Universities or Colleges and then start your preparations. But, most of the Universities would prefer TOEFL now-a-days.
