I am doing mbbs from china, can i am eligible for IAS exam in India.

My parents want me appear for this exam. Please advise me.

Yes, you are eligible for IAS exam but you must have citizenship of India.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. IAS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. IAS exam is conducted one time in a year.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IAS exam.

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

Selection process for IAS exam:

1)Preliminary test
2)Mains exam
3)Personal interview

IAS i.e Indian Administrative Service Examination is conducted by UPSC Once in a year. The exam notification will be published in the month of June or July in the official website of UPSC as well as Employment newspaper.

Eligibility Criteria:

-You must be citizen of India.
-You should have completed degree course from a recognized Indian University.
-You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August of year of examination.
-Upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories.
-3 years for OBC candidates.
-5 years for SC/ST candidates.
-10 years for PWD candidates.

I am doing mmbs right now from China after getting a medical certificate from China can I directly go for upsc.
