Structure of GGSIPU PGMC
The exam consists of one paper. But there are two sections in that paper. The duration of the entrance exam is three hours. There will be a total of three hundred questions for the candidate, which should be completed in 3 hours. Questions will be of multiple choice types. Each question carries four marks. The subjects to be studied for first section are listed below:

100 questions will be asked in the first section for 400 marks. The duration will be 1 hour. Multiple choice questions are asked. The rest of the questions will be asked in the second section i.e. 200 questions for 800 marks. The allocated time for completion of second section is 2 hours. If any one marks more than one answer to a particular question then that answer will be considered as wrong and one mark will be reduced.

Eligibility Criteria
Every candidate applying for this exam must have completed the five year MBBSS course from a MCI approved medical college.
The applying candidate also must have completed the one year internship and the candidate should be registered.
General candidates should have obtained 50%marks in the PG medical entrance.
S C / S T should have scored 40% marks in the entrance examination.
Those candidates who have already got admission in PG course in any other institutions are not eligible to apply.
The candidate should be medically fit. Candidates will be checked for medical fitness by a medical examiner.
No candidates will be allowed to do any diploma if he / she have a post graduate degree.
Seats are reserved for candidates who have studied MBBS in the same college. Seats are also reserved for S C / ST candidates.
How to Apply?
Candidates can apply by both methods that is by offline and online method .Those candidates applying offline should submit the application form to Controller of Examinations, Administrative, Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University,Sector-16 C, Dwarka, Delhi-110075 latest by 4.00 p.m. of 22nd March, 2011.
A DD of Rs1100 should be sent along with application form to Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University
Fee relaxation is there for candidates belonging to the reservation category.
How to fill the Form?
- Candidate should fill the form with precision and accuracy. Instruction leaflets are to be referred if any doubt arises.
- Always double check the form for any mistakes or for anything that is written in the wrong place etc.
- Neatness should be maintained and the form should be submitted before the deadline.
Important Dates (Tentative)
- Application brochures are available from third week of February, 2012
- Receipt of request of admission brochures will be up to the first week of March, 2012
- March, 2012 is the last month for submission of application forms.
- List of applicants will be displayed on the website before last week of March, 2012.
- Entrance exam will be conducted in the month of April, 2012
- Results will be published in the first week of April, 2012
- Counseling will start from the second week of April, 2012
- Medical examination will be conducted in the third week of April, 2012.
- Candidates should join the college in the first week of May, 2012.
- Classes will commence from second week of May, 2012

i am resident of m.p,did ug from m.p too,can i take part in exam,is there any other eligibility criteria ,as i got failed twise during my ug,as i knew there are some exams which do not permit my kind of candidate,how possible to take exam in month of aprill and result in first week of April ,how many seats are there in on session in toto and for unreserved candidate.if you let me know all these answers,i would be very greatful to yoy forum..
