Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University M.Sc Entrance Exam is an entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for the selection of appropriate candidates for the MSc courses offered by various institutes affiliated to the University. GGSIPU is a prestigious university offering various Technical, managerial, pharmacy, medicine courses for the candidates. There are various M.Sc courses in various discipline are offered by the University for the interested candidates.  The duration of the course is two years. Structure and Syllabus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University M.Sc Entrance Exam

For the admission of the candidates to the M.Sc programme, the candidates have to clear the written test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The written test comprises of 150 questions of objective type format. The time allotted for completing the exam is two and a half hours. The total marks for the exam is six hundred. The questions are expected from the subjects the candidates studied in their degree programme. Each question is provided with four alternatives. The most appropriate answer of the question should be selected from the given options. Negative marks are there for wrong answers. Those who have attained good score in the entrance exam are eligible for getting admission for the M.Sc courses offered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

Eligibility Criteria

The main requirement needed for the candidates for getting admission for the MSc in Environmental Management course in  GGSIPU is to secure at least 50% marks in the B.Tech, BSc or BE in Agricultural/Civil/ Chemical Engineering. For getting admission for the MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation the candidates should have a Bachelors degree with 50% marks in any of the subjects of Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Anthropology or any field of Life Sciences. The students studying in the last year of their degree course can apply for the post.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MSc entrance exam application forms can be purchased from the Punjab and Sind bank branches all over in India.  The candidates can purchase the application form from the bank by the payment of the cost of the application form. The application form is also available in the official website of the University www.ipu.admissionhelp.com.  The candidates can submit the online application form through the website. The interested candidates can send the letter of requisition to the head of the University. They have to send the demand draft of application fee along with the letter for receiving the application form by post.  .

How to fill the Form?

The exam prospectus is provided with many instructions for filling the form without any error.  The candidates have to understand all the guidelines prior to start filling the form. The name and date of birth of the candidates should be same as that of in the matriculation certificate. The recent photograph of the candidates with a clear background should be affixed in the application form. The form should include all required details for the application form. The form reached after the due date will not be accepted.
