Hooghly Mohsin College began its educational journey in the year 1836 on the 1st of August and it is more than 170 years old. The college is affiliated to University of Burdwan and it is controlled by the West Bengal Government. The college is receiving grants from the government for all the courses. The college visualizes to make improvements in its academic, research and infrastructural facilities and it is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
Courses Offered:
The college is offering under-graduation, post-graduation and doctoral courses under arts, science and commerce faculties. The college is offering these courses in subjects like English, history, Bengali, Hindi, Economics, Philosophy, Political Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Commerce, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Physiology, Zoology, Mathematics and Law.
