Eligibility Criteria to apply for Master of Agriculture in Fishery Science

The minimum requirement for a student to apply for the master’s degree in fisheries is a bachelor’s degree in fisheries or zoology or related subjects. The candidates with a second class honors degree are considered eligible and can apply for the course. The degree of the student should be from a recognized university. They should also have knowledge in the introductory subjects corresponding to the university to which the candidate has applied for the course.

Exam Qualification Criteria for admission to Masters in Fishery Science

The candidate should mange to score 1000 in verbal and quantitative aptitude in the GRE exam and the individual score of the subjects should not be below 400. The score of TOFEL really matters for those candidates who are not the native speakers of English. The candidates score for the TOFLE exam should be more than

  • 550 in the written exam
  • 213 in the computer based TOFLE
  • 79 internet based TOEFL (iBT).

The score may differ according to the country the candidate has chosen to do the course. Candidate can appear for IELTS International English Language Testing System to get admission in UK.
