Structure of IIST Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering Entrance Exam
Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering Entrance Test carried out by IIST includes both descriptive as well as objective model questions. The time allotted for the completion of the test is 2 hours. The test is intended to measure the research aptitude and technical know how of the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria
Those who have completed the master’s degree in engineering are eligible to apply for the course. The postgraduate degree in engineering must be obtained from any recognized professional institution. The subject of studies must be in areas of Aero space engineering/Mechanical engineering or other related subjects.
How to Apply?
The application process starts with the downloading of the application form. The downloaded form must be filled up correctly. This must be sent to the address of Administrative Officer, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Valiamala P.O., Thiruvananthapuram – 695547, Kerala. Before sending the application form, the candidate should pay Rs. 250/- as application fee. The fee amount is 125/- for SC/ST candidates. The fee can be paid in the form of DD favoring ‘The Registrar, IIST’. The DD must be payable at Trivandrum. The candidate should send the DD along with the application form. They must also send the attested copy of the documents along with the application form.

- All mandatory fields must be filled
- Sent the application to the end before closing date
- Affix photograph, attested documents and DD along with the application form
