The Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak  was established by the Ministry of Human and Resources Department, MHRD, in the year 2008, as per along seven new IIM’s launched in along with the already seven existing IIM’s. The Institute has IIM, Lucknow as its mentor for the initial years. The Institute has a dedicate role upraise the standard of Management based education in the nation and share the knowledge with other Elite Institutes in order to constantly upgrade their own standard.

Infrastructure or Campus:

The Institute offers one of the most unique as well as impressive infrastructural facilities that include dedicated spaces in the campus for student’s recreational centers. The Campus also houses several auditoriums along with computer based laboratories equipped with a high speed internet connections, Central based library, etc.

Courses Offered:

The Institute offers a two year Post Graduate programme in the field of Management. The Institute also offers several fellowship programs in Business Administration field. It has also announced plans to offer Ph. D programs in the related subjects.

Admission Procedure:

The Institute undertakes admission through CAT (Common Admission Test). The candidates who have earned a percentile of 95 or above in the entrance test, are called for Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview(PI). The final admission of the candidates depends on the overall marks obtained in all the three level of Procedure.

Placements:

The Institute has an outstanding placement record in the first year of its establishment. The candidates are recruited by some of the most sought after companies , belonging to the National as well as International circuit, the name of few of them are, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Reliance Communications, Jindal Groups of Companies, etc.
