Indian Institute of Plantation Management is an apex educational institutionunder the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the institute is to provide research, training and education in the field of agriculture. The institute actually came into existence after being registered under the Karnataka Society Registration Act. Recently, the institute also got sponsorship from the plantation sector as well as commodity boards. The institute has played a significant part or role in the Agriculrural sector present in the country.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment against the folowing posts of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer etc in Indian Institute of Plantation Management depending on their educational qualification and experience.

1. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject or field with first class or equivalent at Master’s degree with a very good academic record throughout. Atleast 6 years of experience is required in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9500.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject or field with first class or equivalent at Master’s degree with a very good academic record throughout. Atleast 3 years of experience is required in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

3. Recruitment of Lecturer:
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with atleast 605 marks in aggregate is required for this post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

4. Recruitment of Accouts cum Office Associate:
Educational Qualification: Degree in the relevant subject or field from any recognized university is required. Kowledge of Computer Applications and Tally is desirable for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

Age Limit:

Candidates should be within the age limit set for the above specified posts in Indian Institute of Plantation Management. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Selection Process:

Indian Institute of Plantation Management will conduct a personal interview test for selecting eligible candidates on all the above specified positions. No other test will be conducted by the institute for making selection on the canddiates.
