List of Applied Mechanics Entrance Exams
The Applied Mechanics courses are offered mainly as B. Tech and M. Tech programs. The admission procedure for candidates in to these courses is based on the marks scored in certain common entrance exams. The eligibility condition to attend the entrance exam for B. Tech in Applied Mechanics is a pass in +2 classes. The 12th class should be pursued with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. Those who have passed B. Tech in Applied Mechanics or Civil Engineering or in other allied branches of Engineering are eligible to attend the entrance exam for M. Tech in Applied Mechanics.

Exam Pattern of Applied Mechanics Entrance Exams
This question paper of GATE exam includes a total of 65 questions. The total marks awarded for this Master’s level entrance test is 100. There will be one mark as well as 2 mark questions. This question paper may include general aptitude and reasoning aptitude questions along with subject wise questions. There is negative marking for most of the questions. But a certain set of questions are exempted from the negative marking procedure.
The total marks awarded for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is 200. The questions will be mainly from areas of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will be two question papers for the entrance test. The first section includes questions from Physics and Chemistry where as the second section includes questions from Mathematics. The marks awarded for each section is 100. The medium of questions is Urdu, Marathi or English.
