Bioinformatics deals with the use of information technology in the field of molecular biology for the organization and testing of biological data. Computers are used here to gather, determine and merge biological information. The basic qualification required for the candidate to join this course is a pass in class 10+2 with PCM or PCB as subjects. The applicants have to secure a minimum of 60 % marks in each of these subjects.

PG Diploma in Bioinformatics – Candidates who are applying for this course must have completed their B.Sc/B.Tech from any acknowledged College or University. They must have scored a minimum of 55 percent marks in the qualifying exam. Students who are appearing for their final year exams are also eligible to apply too. But, they should have an average of 55 percent in their previous years/ semesters.
