Exam pattern of Power Plant Engineering Entrance exams

The Power Plant Engineering course is mainly offered through Indian Institute of Technology’s in India. They conduct joint entrance exams (JEE) for the selection of candidates into graduate and post graduate engineering courses in Power Plant Engineering. The time allotted for this entrance test is 3 hours. The students have to attend two papers for clearing this test. Both papers include questions on Physics, Chemistry and mathematics.

The pattern and the order of subjects will be disclosed only at the time of examination. The test is conducted in two shifts. The first section is carried out in the morning and the second section will be conducted in the evening. The marks awarded for each type of questions may vary. Certain types of questions have negative marking for each wrong answer.
