Admission Procedure for MBA in LMTSOM

Thapar University carries out the selection of eligible candidates, either on the basis of CAT score or LMTSOM test score. Candidates short listed on the basis of written test, should get through GD and personnel interview sessions for confirming their final selection to the course. Work experience of the candidate is also considered for admission. Weightage of 60 % marks is given for written test, 20% for personnel interview, 15% for GD and 5% for work experience.

LMTSOM test is applicable only for non CAT candidates. This is a formal test that comprises of questions to evaluate candidate’s aptitude, analytical skill, basic science, comprehension skill and English comprehension.

Application Procedure for MBA Admissions in LMTSOM

Application for admissions can be submitted online through the web site of Thapar University. After submitting applications online, a print out copy of the same must be send to the admission cell of the University, along with a DD of Rs.1500/-. Those who have completed the online application process successfully will be issued with a registration number and password. This registration number and password must be used to download the admit card for attending the selection test.
