Profile:
Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission was established under the Government of India. It was actually established under Article 318 of the Constitution of India. The commission was established on January 25, 1971. Initially, before the establishment of the Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission, the needs of the state of Himachal Pradesh were served by Union Public Service Commission. However, Union Public Service Commission was relaxed from the responsibility after the establishment of Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission
Job Profile:
Applications are invited from indian nationals for the gazetted posts of Medical Officer and Naib Tehsildar in different departmnents of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates should fulfill the age and educational qualification criterias set for the posts.
Eligibility:
Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit set by Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission for the posts of Medical Officer and Naib Tehsildar. Candidates, who not satisfying the age criteria will not be allowed to sit for the interview test with the selection committee.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should be medical graduate for the post of Medical Officer (Dental) while Graduation in any stream from recognized institute is required for the post of Naib Tehsildar.
No. of posts:
Medical Officer (Dental): 11 posts are available.
Naib Tehsildar Class-II: 13 posts are available.
Pay Scale:
Medical Officer (Dental): Candidates will be paid the contractual amount of Rs. 21000 per month.
Naib Tehsildar Class-II: Candidates will be given the salary of Rs. 10300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
Selection Process:
Only a personal interview taken by the selection committee, constitutes the selection procedure. No written test is to be cleared by the candidates before the interview test. However, candidate’s performance in the personal interview test is important for his or her selection on the specified posts.
How to apply: Candidates can download the OMR application form from the website of Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission. Candidates should fill this form completely and then submit it alongwith the other required documents to the prescribed address:
