NIT-Karnataka 2010 MBA
National Institute of Technology-Karnataka conducts an admission process for its two year MBA programme. NIT-Karnataka was established in 1960 and has been a pioneering engineering institute since then. It started providing two year MBA programme in the recent years with great success. NIT-Karnataka has a very good infrastructure and facilities for management education. The institute provides very good placement opportunities to its students.
Candidates are shortlisted for MBA programme of NIT-Karnataka on the basis of their CAT scores. Candidates have to also apply separately for admission in NIT-Karnataka. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT have to appear in a further selection process consisting of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institute with atleast 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Graduation. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.
Availability of Application forms:
The application forms for NIT-Karnataka can be downloaded through the website www.nitk.ac.in. Candidates have to send the completed application form along with a demand draft, copies of certain documents and CAT score card.
Important Dates(Tentative):
• Availability of sale of application form: February 1st week, 2010
• Last date of submitting completed application forms: April End, 2010

Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.
