HIHT University was established under the aegis of the Himalayan Institute Hospital trust. The university was initially started off as a small OPD in the year 1989 with the strength of 250 beds. The college offers both graduation as well as Post graduation courses in various specialities. The university has an urban campus spreaded over an area of 200 acres of land. The university is located in the district of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The university was founded by H.H. Swami Rama. The post graduate programs in various specialities were started with the prior approval of the Medical Council of India.

HIHT University required the eligible candidates for filling up the vacant faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor for its Medical College Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences and its affiliated Hospital.The posts are available in various medical disciplines or areas.

Posts of Professor are available in the disciplines of Biochemistry, Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry.

Posts of Associate Professor are available in the disciplines of Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Obst. & Gynae., Psychiatry and Radiotherapy.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess the qualification as per the MCI norms only.

Posts of Assistant Professor are available in the disciplines of Anaesthesiology, General Medicine, Opthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Radio Diagnosis.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess the qualification as per the MCI norms only.

Eligibility COnditions:

Candidates are required to fulfill all the eligibility conditions set for their deisred positions from the above mentioned posts. The age criteria is strictly need to be followed by the candidates i.e. candidates should not have age more than the maximum age limit.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected as per their performance in the interview test that will be held on a specified date. Candidates are required to perform well in the interview test for ensuring their selection for any of the specified position. Only shortlisted and suitable candidates will be called to appear in the interview test.
