University profile: Central University of Jharkhand came into existence in the year 2009. It has been slowly building its reputation and intake by providing high class education and training with some excellent facilities.

Job profile: The professors will be responsible for imparting high quality education and knowledge to the students. They will be responsible for guiding the students and helping them in their chosen field of specialization. They will also be responsible for helping the students with their project work.

Educational Qualifications: For professors – A candidate must be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification and published work of high quality and a minimum of 12 years of experience. For associate professors – A candidate must have a PhD degree and minimum 55% at Master’s level with a minimum of 8 years experience. For assistant professors – A candidate must have a Master’s degree with 55% marks or a PhD (preferred). The professors must have cleared NET.

No. of posts: There are 4 posts for professors, 8 for associate professors and 13 for assistant professors.

Pay scale: The pay scale for professors is Rs37000-67000 plus a grade pay of Rs10000, for associate professors it is Rs37000-67000 plus a grade pay of Rs9000 and for assistant professors it is Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay if Rs6000.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview.
