Programmer and Assistant Programmer, National Institute of Disaster Management
Institute profile: The National Institute of Disaster Management is a premier and a highly recognized institute under the ministry of home affairs for providing training and care in case of emergencies. It also provides training for earthquake risk management etc. It also suggest on the method to b followed during disasters like flood, earthquakes, cyclones, tsunamis etc.
Job profile: The programmer will be responsible for the design and development of IDKN and IDRN web portals, debugging, security audit, prepare SRS, etc. The assistant programmer will be responsible for develop patches, database synchronization, liaison with IDRN and IDKN stake holders, supporting the programmer etc.
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 28 years for both the posts.
Educational Qualifications: For Programmer – A candidate must have a Master’s degree in computer applications or computer science OR a B.E/B.TECH in computer science OR a degree in computer applications OR a post graduate diploma from a recognized university with an experience of 3 years in dot net framework. For the Assistant Programmer – A candidate must have all the above qualifications with an experience of 2 years and knowledge of orcle9i or 10g databases and knowledge of Linux.
No. of posts: There are only 2 posts one each for the programmer and the assistant programmer.
Pay scale: The programmer will be given a consolidated pay of Rs27000 per month and the assistant programmer will be given a consolidated pay of Rs22000 per month.
Selection process: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their qualifications and experience and the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

i m b.a final year student i have done basic computer course from new delhi in f-tec from green park but i want to become assistent programmer so plse help me and give all information about this field
i want to know that i am doing b.com in the last month of march 2011 it was completed ….and i dont much knowledge about computer so can apply it…pls suggest.fees structure& how long it will take to complete it….
