Centre for Development of Advanced Computing shortly called as CDAC was formerly called as ER & DCI and it is acting as a constituent unit for the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, which is a scientific society operating under the Department of Information Technology of the Government of India.

It is a centre with two campuses one for research and the other campus for education. The current strength of employees in this centre is around 400, out of which more than 60% of the staff are engineers.

Recruitment by CDAC, Noida:

CDAC invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Engineer and some of the details regarding this recruitment notification by CDAC are given below:

Name of the position: Project Engineer

Number of Vacancies: 45

Pay Scale: 15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs. 5400

Duration of the position: Candidates are appointed to serve in the position of Project Engineer for a fixed period of three years, which can be extended according to the requirement of the centre.

Reservation of Vacancies:

45 vacancies are divided as UR-23, ST-3, SC-7 and OBC-12.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: For applying to the position of Project Engineer, candidates must be first-class engineering or MCA graduates with less than 60% of aggregate marks. Even candidates in the final year of their Engineering/MCA course can apply for the position.

Age: The maximum age limit for the position is 30 years

Mode of Selection:

Candidates who are satisfying the eligibility requirements will have to appear for online test on any day between 4th and 12th of June 2011 either in the forenoon or afternoon session in any of the centres like Thiruvananthapuram, Pune, Mumbai, Mohali, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore. The list of shortlisted candidates on the basis of their performance in the online test will be published in the website of CDAC Noida on the 13th of June and the shortlisted candidates will be called for first-level interview on the 14th of June 2011. Candidates who succeed in the first-level interview will be called for final interview on the 25th of June 2011.
