Structure of RGUHS MD Entrance Exam

The question paper for the post graduate entrance test in Ayurvedic medicine consists of objective type multiple choice questions. This entrance examination has two papers and each paper has to be completed within a time period of two hours. There will be a total of 150 questions structured in an objective type multiple choice manner.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should be of Indian origin and he/she should be a permanent resident of the state of Karnataka. The aspirants those who have passed the final year B.A.M.S. examination from any of the recognized university in the state of Karnataka or from any other Ayurveda colleges affiliated to the university situated in the Karnataka state are eligible to apply for the admission. The candidate should not exceed 45 years of age at the time of submission of application for the post graduate entrance test.

How to Apply?

The candidates those who wish to appear for the examination can obtain the application form from the official website of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences after the notifications have been made. The candidates have to pay the application fees through the demand draft. It should be obtained in favor of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The candidates those who fall under the general category have to pay an amount of Rs 1200/- against the application fees. The SC/ST candidates need to pay only an amount of Rs 300/- for the same. The application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to fill the form?

The aspirants can go through the instructions for filling up the application form from the university website. Candidates are advised to read these instructions carefully before filling up the application forms in order to avoid errors in the same. The candidates have to attach a recent photograph in the provided space. They need to take a Xerox copy of the completed application form as it has to be used for future admission procedures. The attested copies of all the certificates have to be attached along with the application form and it should be sent to the specified contact address.
