Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) was established under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Several such institutes are located at Bhopal, Mohali, Pune, Kolkata and Thiruvanantapuram. The institute performs the major function of teaching and providing education that are totally integrated with the state-of-the-art research. The major objective of the institutes is to nurture curiosity and creativity in an atmosphere of research.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Scientist:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 40 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Physics/Chemistry etc is required for applying for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.

2. Recruitment of Technical Officer:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Physics/Bioinformatics etc is required for applying for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

3. Recruitment of Research Associate:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciencesis required for applying for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12000 per month will be given to the selected candidates.

4. Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciencesis required for applying for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12000 per month will be given to the selected candidates.
