Institute profile: Company profile: This institute came into existence in the year 2002. It has been serving the people in the field of science communication, dissemination and S&T information management systems and services. The major achievements of this institute include the TKDL project and the inclusion of MAPA and IJKT in the PCT minimum list.
Job profile: The candidates will be given the post of a Scientist Grade IV (1). The scientists will be required for works like peer evaluation, editing and reviewing of research articles etc. They will also be required to manage and execute various activities of their respective departments and they will also be assisting their seniors.
Eligibility: This recruitment is for SC/ST and OBCs. The relaxation in age will be as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: For a Scientist in Physics – A candidate must have a first class M.Sc or PhD in physics. For IT/Computers – A candidate must have a first class B.E/B.TECH or MCA or M.E/M.TECH in IT or Computer Science. For Chemistry – A candidate must have a first class M.Sc or PhD in chemistry. For Communication Sciences – A candidate must have a first class M.Sc in biological/chemical/physical sciences or PhD in Science. For Library Sciences – A candidate must have M.Lib.Sc or PhD with B.Sc.
No. of posts: There are 5 posts in total which include 1 for OBC, 1 for SC and 3 for ST.
Pay scale: The scientists will be given a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs5400 plus the usual allowances as per the rules.
Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview.

The candidates are also required to pay a fee of Rs100 in the form of a DD in the favor of Director, NISCAIR payable at New Delhi.
