Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) was established in 1958 by merging Technical Development Establishment (TDEs) of the Indian Army and the Directorate of Technical Development & Production (DTDP) with the Defence Science Organisation (DSO). DRDO works under Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. DRDO is working in various areas of military technology including aeronautics, armaments, missiles, materials, naval systems, advanced computing, instrumentation engineering systems, combat vehicles, electronics, simulation and life sciences. The vision of DRDO is to make India prosperous by setting up world class science and technology base and to provide Defence Services with internationally competitive systems and solutions.
Job Profile:
Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Security Assistant.
No. of posts: 26
Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade pay of Rs.1900
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 25 yrs. (Relaxable as per rules)
Qualification and experience – The candidate must have passed in XII class recognized by Central/ State Government, or equivalent certificate awarded by Armed Forces in the case of E-servicemen. The candidates must be physically fit and capable to undertake laborious duties.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the post is through DRDO Entry Test and interview.
Date of Written Test – 24.4.2011
