SOFT conducting Common entrance exam for the aspirants, who wanted to pursue a career in the world of Fashion. Structure SOFT Entrance Exam

SOFT is a objective type examination with total duration two and half hours. The aspirants have to select the right answer for each question from the given options and there will be negative marking for the wrong answers. Eligibility Criteria

For the undergraduate program the candidates must pass plus two in any stream under the recognized board. The minimum age limit is 17 years.

For the post graduate program they must complete the graduation in any discipline from nationally reorganized university. The minimum age limit is 21 years.

The admission will be purely on the merit basis and the final year students are also eligible to apply for the exam, provided that they satisfy the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

How to Apply?

The application form can download from the official website http://www.softpune.com. Once can also purchase the form from the institute either by directly the cash payment Rs. 1000/- or by sending the request form to the admission committee of the institute wit a DD of Rs.1200/- in favor of “School of Fashion Technology” which should be payable at Pune. The candidates should collect the application form before the deadline.

How to fill the Form?

The application form comprise of an information booklet. The candidates should carefully go through this guideline before filing the form. To eliminate the errors while filling the form, the candidates can take the Xerox copy of the application and fill it first before the original one. The information given should be correct and should match with your official records. You have to paste a recent size passport size photo on the application form. Crosscheck to make sure you filled every needed column and attaches every document required. The application should reach the exam office before the deadline.

Study Plan

The student should have a well prepared study plan for getting a good score in the exam. They must carefully understand the syllabus for the examination. They must go through the previous year question papers for understanding the question format. The drawing skills is an important one, hence the students need to practice drawing by referring the previous year questions or the mock tests. They should also learn to adjust their time for each session and refer the books and study material meant for different fashion technology examinations. Cutoff of SOFT Entrance Exam

The cutoff will vary according to the program and seats available to each program. Probably for getting the counseling call the students must score average of 60-70% in the examination.

Score Validity

The score will valid for the present academic year that is one year validity.
