St. Peter University conducts an admission process for admission to its undergraduate engineering programs. St. Peter’s University was established in 1992 as St. Peter’s Engineering College and was affiliated to Anna University. In 2008 it got the status of deemed to be University by University Grants Commission (UGC) and was renamed as St. Peter’s University. It provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in engineering in different disciplines as well as MBA and MCA.

St Peter’s University conducts its own entrance examination for entrance to its programs. Its entrance exam is conducted in a number of cities all across India and the admission is open to candidates from all states. St. Peter’s University being a highly reputed university a large number of candidates appear for its entrance exam every year.
