Telengana University established in the year 2006 is one of the public universities of the country which is located in the Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh. The University conducts entrance exams every year for the selection of eligible candidates to its Ph.d program in Statistics.

Structure of Ph.D entrance exam for Statistics

The question paper for the Ph.d entrance exam will consist of 2 sections. First section is short answer type one in which 10 questions of 5 marks each will be asked. In the next section, 5 questions of 10 marks each will be asked. The exam duration will be for 3 hours.

Eligibility Criteria

The aspirants for the admission to the Ph.d programme in Statistics should have completed their post graduate course in allied fields from a recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate (50% for backward community candidates).

How to Apply?

The applicants can obtain the application form from the official website of the University. The completed application form has to be send to the Director, Centre for Research & Development, Telangana University, Nizamabad -503 322, AP along with the documents and demand draft from any nationalised bank drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Telangana University, Nizamabad” of Rs. 1000/- before the due date.
