The minimum eligibility to become Ultra Sound technician is Plus-two with PCB from a recognized school/board. Some universities have minimum mark criteria for the admission process. The students having good knowledge in the medical terminology are given preference during the admission process.

Students are advised to stay away from the six to eight months program because there are many unrecognised institutes in India offering such courses.

The students should have deep knowledge in the medical aspects and should be interested in pursuing the degree.
