University of Pune is one of the finest educational Universities in the country and it offers course in so many streams. The University offers BBA and students from different parts of the country flock to the University to participate in this programme. BBA students of this university, during the 1st semester of the course have to study Business communication skills and have to take its exam at the end of the semester. As far as commerce students are concerned, this is a very important subject as their skills will be useless if they cannot communicate their ides effectively.

Importance of the subject and question paper

This is one of the most important subjects for commerce students. The students after the course will have to work in various fields of business administration in the country or abroad. They need to have the skill to communicate their ideas effectively with the business organisation and to do this they need to have good communication skills. This subject is to endure that the students will be able to communicate their ideas and channelize them properly. It is a subject that is based on both theoretical and practical English.

The paper consists of five questions and all the questions are compulsory. The paper does not contain any objective questions and is purely descriptive. Within a question, internal options are available. In certain cases, the answer has to be presented in the form of a diagram.

Marking scheme and duration of paper

The paper is marked out of 80.  There are five questions which the candidates have to answer. The first four questions carry 15 marks and the last question carries 20 marks. The candidates are allotted three hours for completing   the question paper.
