Eligibility Criteria for seeking admission to the college:

For seeking admission to the BBM and B. Com courses, candidates must have completed their PUC in any of the streams with not less than 40% of marks from a recognized university. In the case of BCA course, candidates must have completed their PUC in science stream with 40% of marks.  In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category, just a pass in the appropriate disciplines is enough for seeking admission to the aforesaid courses.

Documents to be produced for admission:

The following admission criteria are followed by the Vidyavikas First Grade College:

• Candidates should obtain residential permit from police department and medical certificate

• Foreign students should produce student visa and passport

• Foreign candidates must get no objection certificate from the Mysore University to join this college

• In the case of candidates belonging to other states, they should get migration certificate from their state and eligibility certificate from the University of Mysore

• JOC recognized by CBSE/Government of Karnataka

The library at Vidyavikas First Grade College is housed with large number of books and it is subscribing to important magazines and journals. The library is operating under the leadership of a well-qualified librarian and the benchmark followed by the college is 13:1 ratio between books and students.
