Profile:

Department of Agriculture and Cooperation was established in the year 1871 by the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the DAC was to have a department which can deal with all the matters affecting the pratical improvement and development of the agricultural resources in India. Initially all kind of work related to the agriculture field was considered as the responsibility of the Home Department.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Cheif Director in Department of Agriculture and Cooperation depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 56 years of age. Candidates should posses atleast 12 years experience in the field of cooperation in a Government organization.

Educational Qualification:

Master’s degree from a recognized institute or university is required for applying for the posts of Chief Director.

No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8700.

Selection Procedure:

The final selection for the specified post will be made through the conduct of written examination and then personal interview session. Candidates will have to clear both these exams for getting themselves selected for the prescribed post.
