Scope and career Prospects of MBA from Punjab:

There is good value for an MBA from a reputed institute in and around Punjab. Growing state economy ensures good career prospects for the deserving. Students with experience get placed in middle management positions after passing out from college. Entrance Test:

For MBA, a variety of scores are accepted. The most common score accepted are the CAT scores which are conducted by Indian Institute of Management. There is MAT (AIMA). A few institutes also accept XAT scores which are conducted by XLRI. These entrance tests are very well known and highly competitive. Thousands of students appear for these tests at all India level. MBA programs are very flexible and accept students from all across the country. Apart from the scores of the entrance tests, a few institutes also conduct their own Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. However Group Discussions and interviews are within the purview of individual colleges and the rules keep on changing from one academic year to another.

Preparation for Entrance Test:

Many popular books are available to train students to crack these entrance tests. Also there are scores of coaching classes which rain students in cracking each of the specific entrance test. Also study materials can be found on net as well. Students are tested in areas of English, Mathematics and General Reasoning. Also a few questions on current affairs are also asked. All these tests are for two hours duration.
