Kali Prasad Training College is a co-education institution located in the city of Allahabad on the convergence of invisible Sarasawati, Jamuna and Ganga river. The college is being managed by Kayastha Pathshala Trust and it is affiliated to Allahabad University. The college aims at preparing efficient, energetic and effective teachers imbibing ethical and moral values among the students.

Course Offered:

The college is offering one-year degree course in education and the course is approved by University of Allahabad. The course is divided two parts namely theory and practical work.

Eligibility Criteria:

For getting admission to the B. Ed course offered by the college, the students should have completed three year degree course with a minimum of 50% of marks from any recognized Indian Universities or an equivalent examination conducted by a foreign university.

Admission Process:

The admission is made on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by University of Allahabad, which constitutes two papers. The first paper is to test the general knowledge of the students, while the second paper is divided into two parts one for testing the general mental ability of the students and the other part is to test the subject knowledge of the students. After taking the mark secured by the students in this entrance test into consideration, selected candidates are admitting after proper counseling.

Academic feature of the college:

With the view to enlighten the students about theoretical and practical teaching, the college is conducting orientation programmes on a regular basis and guest lectures are also organized by the college. For further enhancing the exposure of the students, the college is also conducting seminars, symposium and intra-mural discussions on different topics, which will be useful for the students to enhance their communication skills as well.
