The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was set up on 1 November 1973. ASRB was established as an independent recruitment agency under the approval of the Gajendragadkar Committee. ASRB is involved in recruiting eligible candidates for various posts in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The ICAR is an autonomous organization for co-coordinating, guiding and managing research and education in agriculture, horticulture, fisheries and animal sciences in India. ASRB recruits candidates for ICAR through competitive examinations and/ or direct recruitments.

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Head/ Project Coordinator for different institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) at New Delhi.

Pay Scale – Rs. 37400 - 67000 + RGP of Rs. 10000

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The maximum age limit is 60 years as on 14.02.2011

Educational qualification – The candidates must have Doctoral degree in relevant field and must have specific experience.
