Profile:

The Indian Navy was established as the naval branch of the armed forces in the country. The ‘Navy Day’ is celebrated on 4th December every year. The prime objective of this branch is to secure the maritime borders of the country and also to enhance international relations.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for posts of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer as Observer in Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 23 years of age. Candidates are required to be born between 2 July 1988 to 1 July 1992 (both dates are inclusive).

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to attain the minimum educational qualification (Graduation in any discipline) set for the specified post.

No. of posts: Several posts are available for the specified position.

Pay Scale: Prescribed amount of salary will be given to the selected candidates.

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates will be made through the conduct of a written examination and a personal interview test followed by a medical fitness test.
