Eligibility requirement:

For B. Tech Biotechnology, B. Tech & MBA (dual degree), B. Pharm & M. Pharm (dual degree) and B. Pharm & MBA (dual degree) courses, candidates must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized institution with not less than 50% marks in PCM/PCB subjects, for DMLT and B. Pharm course, candidates with 10+2 in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks can apply. For M. Sc (Biotech), MBA (Biotech) and B. Tech lateral entry, candidates with minimum 50% of marks B. Sc in life sciences, agriculture, biology, microbiology or biotechnology are eligible to apply. For M. Tech in Biotechnology, candidates must have completed their B. Tech in Biotechnology with not less than 50% of marks from a recognized institution. For lateral entry to the B. Pharm course, candidates with diploma in pharmacy (minimum 50% of marks) are eligible to apply. For M. Pharm courses, candidates must have completed their B. Pharm with not less than 50% of marks. For Ph. D in pharmacy, candidates with not less than 55% of marks at the Master of Pharmacy course from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India are eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure:

Admission of students to the B. Tech Biotechnology and B. Tech & MBA (dual degree), marks secured by the students in MUEE/SEE-UPTU/any other state entrance examination is taken into consideration. For Ph. D course admission is done based on MUEE and interview and for all other courses, admission is done based on the merit secured by the students in the qualifying examination.
