Bidar is a district in the state of Karnataka and the district is located in the southern part of the nation. The district has the historic city of Bidar as its administrative center of the district. The city of Bidar is located at a distance of about 120 kms from the capital city of the state Hyderabad. Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences is an autonomous institute of Government of Karnataka that came into existence in the year 2007. The MBBS course offered by the institute is approved by the Medical Council of India with an intake capacity of 100 students per year and in addition to the MBBS course, the institute also offers the following paramedical courses:
