Kurukshetra University is one of the ancient universities of the country. It was established in 1956. The university is situated in the holy land of Kurukshetra. The university offers several under graduate, post graduate, doctoral, certificate and diploma courses for candidates from any part of the country. The university provides best lab facilities and is very famous for its better faculty.  Admissions to various courses are made on the basis of separate entrance examinations that are conducted by the university. Structure of Kurukshetra University PhD Education Entrance Test

The Kurukshetra University PhD Education Entrance Test consists of two papers. Paper 1 comprises of 50 objective type questions. The time allotted for the exam is 100 minutes and the total score is 100.

Paper 2 is subjective type. It consists of 20 questions five from each of the topic given in the syllabus. Each question carries five marks and the total time allotted is 2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a master’s degree in education (M.Ed) with a gross aggregate of 55% from any of the recognized universities are eligible to write the Kurukshetra University PhD Education Entrance Test. A consideration of 5% is given to handicapped as well as to those who belong to the backward communities (SC/ ST).

Application forms for the Kurukshetra University PhD Education Entrance Test are available on the official website of the university. Candidates can directly download the form from the website. An application fee of Rs.40/- has to be paid by the general category candidates. While the blind candidates of Haryana and those who belong to the backward communities need to pay only Rs.10/-. Dully filled application forms must be sent to “The Director/Chairperson, Institute/Department of ……, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra-136119”. Another method is to drop the filled in application form directly in the University office.
