Structure of Kurukshetra University Ph.D in Biotechnology Entrance Test

The Kurukshetra University PhD in Biotechnology Entrance Test will have 2 papers. The first paper will consist of 50 objective type questions which have to be answered within 60 minutes. Each correct answer in this part will be awarded 2 marks. The second paper will be of descriptive type. This paper will have 4 sections each of which having 2 questions. Each question will have five parts and each part will be of five marks.  Candidates will have to attempt only one question from each section. The time duration allotted for this paper is 120 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those who have completed their master’s program in biotechnology or allied subjects with a minimum aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ST/ physically and visually handicapped candidates) from a recognized University are eligible to apply for the Kurukshetra University PhD in Biotechnology Entrance Test.

The candidates can obtain the application form and information brochure of Kurukshetra University PhD in Biotechnology Entrance Test from the University and various other concerned centres by payment of Rs. 500/- for general category and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST & BC category. One can also download the application form from the official website of University. The duly filled application form along with requisite enclosures has to be sent to the Chairperson/ Director of the Department of Biotechnology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana – 136119 on or before the due date.
