Campus Placement Process of Samsung
B.Tech/M.Tech holders in streams like Computer Science, Instrumentation, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering can apply for campus placement in Samsung. Applicants should have a consistent score of 65% marks through out academics. Selection of eligible candidates is made through aptitude/technical test, GD, and interview. Questions on aptitude, reasoning, C, C++, Data Structures, and Operating System are asked for the written test. Those who clear all the three stages of selection process are given with job offer letter.
Eligibility Criteria for Campus Placement in Samsung
Eligibility criteria vary slightly with job profile. Usually fresh graduates or final year students having/pursuing any of the following qualifications can apply.
- Bachelor of Technology
- Master of Technology
- Master of Computer Application
Master/Bachelor of Technology must be obtained in streams like Computer Science, Instrumentation, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation or Telecommunication.
Other than educational qualifications, candidates should have fluency in English and good communication skills. Applicants should have at least 65% marks from 10th class till graduation/post graduation. They should be free of backlogs.
Campus Placement Process of Samsung
Tough selection process is carried out by Samsung for campus recruitment. Selection process is carried out through a three stage process.
- Aptitude/Technical Test
- Group Discussion
- Technical/HR Interview
Aptitude/Technical Test is conducted in two sections. In the first section, there will be 50 questions, based on aptitude and reasoning. Among them, first 25 questions are asked from quantitative aptitude. Again in quantitative aptitude section, twenty questions are asked from data interpretation and the remaining five from simple arithmetic. Rest of the 25 questions is related to puzzles. A total of 30 questions are asked from subject related topics such as C, C++, Data Structures, and Operating System.
Those who clear with written test are short listed for Group Discussion. Topics for GD will be based on social issues or recent happenings of national importance. The main objective behind this session is to evaluate the communication skill of the participant. Having cleared this session, candidates can move to the stage of Technical/HR interview. Questions based on academic projects, seminars, and industrial visits can be expected from the interview session. Candidate’s attitude, their ability to work under stress, etc are evaluated via interview. Aspirants, who can clear all the three stages of selection process, are given with offer letter. Offer letter include exact details on job profile, salary package, and date to which the candidate should join the company.
